Back!

There was a small kerfuffle with my ticket and some question as to whether or not I'd be spending the night in Salt Lake City. But there was a chance at an earlier flight right as I got there, so I hopped the earlier plane and got to SLC faster than the majority of the other people on the same overbooked flight and managed to secure a seat. Thank you, gods of travel! And thank you, [info]kelly_yoyo and [info]baddolly, for being such delightful travel companions.

Now I'm transcribing the sixty pages (holy cow!) of notes from the workshop, doing some catching up on e-mail and TV and dipping into Harry Potter at intervals. It's very nice to be back.

You are so welcome and likewise! We heard from R that you might be having travel problems so we cast a quick spell in the airport - looks like it worked!

I'm exhausted, and my beloved gave me a quite fabulous return home present that sent the overstimulated receptors into overdrive.

Oz had trouble in the airport too. That seems to be the norm these days.

Glad you made it home, Cat. I'm doing laundry and groceries and convincing my body that I had enough sleep, really I did.

I think you got my seat on the delayed departure to SLC. I was supposed to be on a 2:30 flight and it was delayed to 3:10 which meant I would miss my connection. So they booked me through American to Dallas and home. Was that the flight you picked up?

Yep, that's the one I was on, all right! It was about half full, which was really weird after the multitude of crowded planes I've been on lately.
