Good stuff!
There is ALL SORTS of good stuff going up on the [info]ipstpcommunity, including some entire novels. Worth checking out. I'm saving it for my afternoon break for now - time to slug down the mondo latte from Jitters, the best-named coffee hut around, and wrestle with the novel. Right now I'm trying to figure out the order of things - there's three main POVs, one of whom is confined to epistolatory style, and then a lot of one-shot material, like a brief excerpt from a play and a listing of the best chal-shops in Tabat, and I'm not sure where many bits should go.

And I apologize - I had misread the F&SF column and didn't realize it wasn't actually the first time they were doing something web-only. I do maintain that the column was a bad choice when selecting something designed to show off the magazine and make readers think they want to subscribe. If it had been something like a new Bisson story, the charge for a new subscription would already be showing up on my credit card bill.

Jitters is a good name, but my all-time favorite is the coffeeshop/internet cafe in Provincetown, where dogs can come in too and have a bowl of water while their people get caffeinated and check their email. It's called the Wired Puppy. :)

(It's right down the street from the Fine Arts Work Center, where I go for workshops in the summer, so I end up there ... not infrequently. Nice little place.)
