We're in Crystal City, VA, an odd little hygenic bubble that houses offices and corporate apartments for DC folks. Now that it's Monday, this little world has changed and become much busier.
It is possible, with the right circumstances, to never see daylight here except through a window. The friend we're staying with can get to his office through an underground tunnel connected to the hotel, and the tunels are full of shops, including an optometrist, dentist, and doctor. Now I know where the main Morlock enclave will be.
In an effort to make us feel like we're at home (joke courtesy of Wayne), the hotel is shutting off the water from 10-2 today. I think we're going to try the walking trail to Mt. Vernon.
