Class, or lack thereof

I was reading a livejournal entry today which consisted of someone bitching about her boyfriend, knowing full well that he would read it. Wow. That... shows no class at all, in my opinion. If you have a problem, work it out directly through that archaic medium known as face to face conversation.

I'm surprised sometimes on eschwa by the digs people take at their supposed loved ones, while knowing it will get read by the target. It seems classless to me to wash your dirty linen in public, for one thing. Maybe I just value privacy more than some folks. But does being on a public forum mean you have to reveal -everything-? It seems possible to have an entertaining, introspective, thoughtful journal without showing the world all the hairy little nicks in your personal life.

In other news, I spent much of today working on mud docs for people wanting to run magick users. I'm pleased with how they're turned out so far, but there's still a chunk o'work to finish. I posted what I have on the GDB for feedback. What I'd really like are some samples of interesting character concepts people have come up with over the past few years, but it's looking as though I'm going to have to do some direct prodding to elicit these.
