Writing opp for 1500 word pieces about historical scandals in my mailbox this morning -- how could I pass that up?

THE SURGEON'S TALE AND OTHER STORIES has swelled a little -- Jeff's added "The Farmer's Cat", which is a swell story, and I've added "A Key Decides Its Destiny", which originally appeared in SAY...WHAT'S THE COMBINATION? and "The Three Sons", which is a modified version of a folk story I originally did for the Armageddon MUD documentation. The cover is getting revamped a little, while the designer is working on the interior pages. I really love the way it all looks, and Jeff's been a genius at doing the cool little bits like the bios, but holy heck, I can see how much work goes into this sort of thing, and it doesn't lead me to think "Boy, I'd love to do one of these on my own."

Taught the first class last night, and it was swell. I'm a little rusty, but it's a fun, somewhat mixed group and we should have an interesting time. Teaching a class like that is a little like being at a dinner party where everyone thinks you're the most interesting person in the room, and you may or may not be able to live up to that. Not that I have actually been at such a dinner party, but one can extrapolate.
